Are you interested in learning how to start your own business?
Young Entrepreneurs Series (YES), a program of the Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs, is designed to give young girls age 14 to 18 practical, hands-on training in business and entrepreneurship!
The YES program introduces high school girls to entrepreneurship and the exciting world of business through interactive learning, hands-on activities, one-on-one mentoring, and world-class business tours to Chicago, Toronto, New York and Washington, DC. The YES program provides young girls with the education and resources they need to start, manage, and grow their own business. Since its inception, over 200 girls across Detroit have participated in the YES program.
The YES program aims to promote entrepreneurship as an alternative in career development for young women in Detroit. Through a series of unique educational experiences, the YES program helps young girls launch a company, establish a not-for-profit social enterprise, prepare for leadership roles, and succeed in today's global society.
